BAHAWALPUR, (APP): According to Commissioner of Bahawalpur Raja Jahangir Anwar, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and the Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry will host the Bahawalpur Trade Fair in conjunction with the Cholistan Desert Rally.
According to him, the rally is now a well-liked sporting event all over the globe.
He said that this year’s trade expo, a significant social, cultural, and economic event, will be more elaborately planned.
During a meeting with the officials and board members of the Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Commissioner Bahawalpur shared these opinions. On this occasion, officials including Professor Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha, Vice President Abir Haider, Director Press Media and Publications IUB Shahzad Ahmad Khalid, President Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali Mann, and Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Zahid Pervaiz Waraich were present.
IUB Vice Chancellor Engr Prof Dr. Athar Mehboob was thanked by the Commissioner of Bahawalpur for partnering with the Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry to organise the trade expo.
According to him, the trade show is attended by hundreds of instructors and students who put up different booths.
Later, the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali Mann, met with the registrar of the IUB, Prof. Dr. Moazzam Jameel, and they had a thorough conversation on the roles that the teams from the university and Chamber of Commerce should play. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur will put up 30 booths where various departments would showcase their goods, as it was determined at the time. Additionally, other Bahawalpur departments will set up their booths. With assistance from the Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Bahawal Gymkhana will also construct a sizable food court.
