CHUNIAN : – In the Punjab province’s Chunian tehsil, a mother and son were murdered because of a long-standing animosity, and the family members protested and demanded that the police quickly apprehend the suspect.
Unknown motorcycle-borne suspects killed the mother and son on the Chunian bypass as they rode to their town of Mastwal Jaghian, according to police sources.
According to further police sources, the deceased’s mother has been named as 50-year-old Asia Bibi and her 19-year-old son Ahmed.
However, he moved the main city to Chunian, blocked the Changa Manga Allahabad Road, and demanded that the police apprehend the murderers. He claimed that since 2005, the opponents have killed seven of his people, but the suspects have been declared offenders, and the police have not been successful in apprehending them.
The protesters claimed that despite repeatedly giving the police the accused’s CDRs and informing them of the threats we were receiving from the accused, the mother and son would be killed today in broad daylight and that the bodies would not be turned over to the police until the suspects had been apprehended.
In this respect, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Chunian stated that special teams of police are conducting raids and the offenders would be nabbed shortly.
