LAHORE: On Thursday, the Punjab Sports Board (SBP) held Summer Camps for various sports around the state.

Dr. Asif Tufail, Director General of Sports Punjab, stated that thousands of boys and girls are participating in summer camps comprising 14 games in all divisions, where skilled coaches are providing instruction to camp hopefuls. “The summer camps are being organized to encourage our young boys and girls to participate in healthy sports activities during their summer vacations.”

Dr. Asif Tufail stated that specialist coaches from the Sports Board were teaching youth camp hopefuls in two sessions across the province, including Lahore Division, Bahawalpur, Sargodha, DG Khan, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Multan, Faisalabad, and Rawalpindi.

The competitions will be held among the best achievers of summer camps, according to the DG of SBP. “The top performers from the SBP summer camps will receive additional training in an advanced training camp to prepare these young athletes for national level sports competitions,” he said.
