BAHAWALPUR, (APP): Chief Engineer Irrigation Bahawalpur Zone Khalid Bashir said on Thursday that there was no risk of flooding in the district and that levees and flood zones were being monitored on a regular basis.
He stated that the water levels at the heads are normal.
He stated that Head Islam Hasilpur has a water capacity of 330,000 cusecs.
At the moment, 37984 cusecs of water have been received at Head Islam Hasilpur, and 37984 cusecs of water have been discharged. He also stated that Head Punjand has a capacity of 865,000 cusecs of water.
At the moment, 92629 cusecs of water have been received, while 85529 cusecs of water have been discharged.
